About Mrs. Nuttall

I am an Alberta girl who grew up in Wetaskiwin and attended the University of Alberta.  I have had my elementary teaching degree for 19 years. During that time, I have taught every grade between Pre-Kindergarten and Grade 6.  My passion lies with the youngsters in Early Childhood and Division I (grades K to 3). I am thrilled to be teaching Grade 1 again this year and look forward to another awesome year with the families of my Fantastic Firsties.

My other passion is my family.  My husband, Gord, and I live  with our two children. Noah is 13 years old and Makynna is 12 years old.  We also have a little wiener dog named Moby.  I was so blessed to be able to take a few years off from teaching to be at home with my children. It was such a wonderful experience to be at home with them watching them grow.

As a family, we all like to spend much of our time outdoors. In the summer we love to go camping, do archery, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming and do water sports together.  Our favourite activities in the winter are downhill skiing, sledding and skating on our backyard rink. We also love to travel. We have a cabin on the most northern bay on Lake Superior in Ontario called Kama, and we spend a good portion of our time there in the summer. This is our paradise!

My family loves archery!
